Royal Mail is moving to a
new barcode system and
changing the rules on stamps.
Stamps that say ‘1st’ or ‘2nd’ class or any other price
without a barcode on them
will not be valid after 31 January 2023.
However, you can still use Christmas and special commemorative stamps.
There is a form to swap your unused stamps for new barcoded stamps
to the equivalent value.
