“I moved to Poynton seven years ago after living in Nottinghamshire for thirty years with my second husband Eric. We moved back North to be near family and chose Poynton because my daughter, Debbie, lives here.
Eric was assessed with Alzheimer’s six years ago. We joined Tytherington Golden Memories Group where we met Gerald, Judy and Edith with their spouses whom the Group was helping so much. Gerald decided to start a Group at his home (thanks Gerald) and that’s how I became part of Poynton Golden Memories. I have enjoyed meeting so many nice people and am settled down in Poynton, a lovely town/village.”
