“Hubby Jon and I retired and moved back to the North West in 2016, having been away 30 years. We’ve moved home several times and – Poynton we’re here to stay! My career has been varied and has mainly been in administration and line management. Voluntary roles include Church Deacon, working with children and teenagers at Sunday School and running young people’s groups and camps. Moving back home I realised I needed still that involvement within the community. I came across a Poynton Golden Memories Flyer – I was hooked.
I joined PGM in March 2018 and felt a part of this special family immediately. Initially I got involved with the singing, dancing, exercises and games. Three years on I’m still in the centre of the fun and now have the privilege of being part of the Leadership Team.”
